Paul Hutchinson, a life-long Colorado fisherman who went missing after leaving for a one-day fishing trip Tuesday, has been located and is heading home to Golden.

Hutchinson, 64, called his wife this afternoon to say he had become sick, then disoriented in the woods west of Colorado Springs. He spent two nights in the woods with some camping gear he routinely carries in his truck. He told her he was feeling stronger and was driving home.

Hutchinson, who retired as a Denver Post reporter about 10 years ago, was last seen in Woodland Park, where he used a credit card Tuesday afternoon.
