Some days everything seems to work out just perfectly for a fishing outing. Take the circumstances April 19 when Littleton resident Ann Brooks settled along the north shore of Antero Reservoir with her fly rod: sunshine, light wind, nothing to ruffle her backcast. A graduate of Al Noraker’s Fly Girl class for women anglers, she knew just what to do when the big rainbow grabbed her miniature bunny fly and headed toward the middle of the lake. The fish measured 22 inches long and, you guessed it, a bigger one got away.
