A flight attendant was taken into custody Saturday after security at Denver International Airport found she was trying to pass through security with two unloaded handguns.
Police have not released the woman’s name.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson could not confirm that the flight attendant works for Great Lakes Aviation, as earlier reports indicate.
Jackson said it’s unlikely charges will be filed against the woman by federal investigators, but the incident is still under investigation.
