ATLANTA — A line of severe storms crossing the Southeast killed a Mississippi woman, knocked out power to about 16,000 customers in Alabama and Georgia and caused some property damage in at least three states, authorities said Sunday. A coroner said a 46-year-old Laurel, Miss., woman was killed when a tree fell on her while she was standing outside her home.
