Nuggets’ interior passing:
Whether it was Carmelo Anthony hitting a cutting Nene, or Chauncey Billups dumping down to Chris Andersen or Kenyon Martin for a dunk, the Nuggets passed with precision in the paint.
Smith, Andersen most effective:
In the plus-minus category (the point margin while a player is in the game), J.R. Smith led the way at plus-27, followed by Ander- sen’s 24. The next-highest was Anthony’s plus-12.
Nene’s rebounding:
Of all of the right things Nene did in Game 1, rebounding wasn’t one of them. That was not an issue in Game 2 as he hit the boards early and often, finishing with eight.
