EATON, Colo.—An 11-year-old boy from Weld County has a BB lodged in his brain after a friend accidentally hot him in the forehead.
The boy was shooting at tin cans with friends using a BB gun Sunday when he was accidentally shot in the left forehead. The unnamed boy went home walking and talking but became ill after he went home.
The boy was being observed at Children’s Hospital in Denver, where doctors were trying to decide what to do about the BB in the boy’s brain.
Authorities say the shooting was an accident and that no criminal charged are expected.
