A man suspected of gunning down an associate in Aurora early Saturday was arrested Sunday in Hays, Kan.
Corey Ray Albat, 21, was arrested on an unrelated drug warrant in Kansas. He will be extradited to Arapahoe County to face first-degree murder charges, Aurora police said.
Citing the status of the investigation Sunday, authorities would not release a photograph of Albat or the name of his victim, who was shot multiple times in his car in the 500 block of Geneva Street.
An autopsy will confirm the identity of the man, who is described as being in his early 20s.
