AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police have released the name of a man who was killed in a rollover crash on East 56th Avenue.

Forty-nine-year-old Nelson Starks of Denver died at the scene of the wreck Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Starks was eastbound at over 100 mph when he lost control of the car he was driving and it rolled into a field near E-470.

Starks’ passenger, his 25-year-old stepson, Frankie Biggs of Denver, was extricated from the vehicle and flown to an area hospital in critical condition.

Police say both men were wearing seat belts, and excessive speed so far appears to be the only factor in the crash.
