COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Police have confirmed a body found last week near a hiking trail west of Colorado Springs was that of a 22-year-old developmentally disabled man who had been missing since Jan. 5.

Police said Wednesday the dead man found by detectives in North Cheyenne Canyon has been identified as 22-year-old Jason Holley.

The El Paso County coroner’s office has released no cause of death but says the manner was homicide.

The Gazette newspaper in Colorado springs reports that two men—18-year-old Kyle Stott and 21-year-old Derek Herdandez—were arrested last week on suspicion of first-degree murder in Holley’s death. They’re being held without bail in the El Paso County jail.

Family members say Holley suffered from a disorder called Klinefelter syndrome and had the mental capacity of a 12- to 14-year-old.
