COLORADO SPRINGS — An 84-year-old woman who lives in a retirement community was hit in the head and robbed early this morning.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was robbed when she was returning home to the Laurel Garden Retirement Community from the hospital at 3 a.m. today. She was hit in the back of her head and her purse was taken. She was taken to the hospital.
