A driver was killed and a passenger critically wounded in a high-speed rollover crash in Aurora this afternoon.
The names of the victims have not been released.
Police said the Nissan 350Z ran off the road at East 56th Avenue and North Tower Road at about 1:30 p.m. The two, both wearing seatbelts, were the only occupants of the car, according to Aurora police.
Investigators think the car was traveling more than 100 mph as it sped east on 56th Avenue, until the driver lost control.
The death marked the fifth traffic accident in Aurora this year, police said.
