A woman was critically injured this afternoon in a collision with a school bus on South Wadsworth Boulevard.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, a school bus carrying three childen was southbound on Wadsworth approaching the intersection of West Brook Drive at about 3:59 p.m.
A Chevrolet Monte Carlo traveling east on Brook entered the school bus’ path from a stop sign and the bus struck the driver’s side of the Monte Carlo.
According to the state patrol, the three children were uninjured. The bus driver sustained only minor injuries.
The female driver of the Monte Carlo was transported via ambulance with critical injuries.
Identities of the drivers are not being released at this time pending notification of family.
