GREELEY, Colo.—Eaton scored seven runs in the third inning as the school won its second consecutive Class 3A baseball championship with a 13-0 victory Saturday over Holy Family.
Logan Hall allowed just two hits in a complete game shutout, striking out seven and walking two. The win caps an undefeated 25-0 season.
Center fielder Bryce Ruff had a two-RBI double, catcher Bennett Pickar had a two-RBI single and Tanner Anderson and Tyler Wallace had an RBI apiece as Eaton jumped to a 10-0 lead in the third.
The championship game ended after five innings.
All three of Holy Family’s (22-3) losses this season were to Eaton.
