A 24-year-old Colorado Springs man died yesterday in Aurora after losing control of his speeding motorcycle and sliding into a street light.
Aurora police responded to a report of an accident and found Larry Glass lying in a driveway near East Gunnison Place and South Laredo Court at about 9:10 p.m.
Glass, who had been speeding up and down the street just before the accident, apparently slid off the south side of the road and hit the fiberglass light pole.
He wasn’t wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle and crashed through a wooden fence before landing in the driveway.
Speed and alcohol appear to be contributing factors in the accident, according to Aurora police.
