Passing game:
The Nuggets moved the ball well on offense, especially early. They had 11 assists on 14 baskets in the first quarter and assists on all six of their second-quarter field goals.
Belted by Birdman:
Chris Andersen laid out Lakers guard Shannon Brown late in the third quarter with a rock-solid pick. Andersen finished with eight points, five rebounds and two blocked shots.
