Colorado’s mountain casinos posted a 12.1 percent year-over- year drop in revenue in April, the industry’s biggest decline this year, according to data released Wednesday by the state Division of Gaming.
The industry reported adjusted gross proceeds — total bets minus payouts — of $51.6 million, down from $58.7 million in April 2008.
Black Hawk’s 18 casinos had revenue of $37.1 million, Cripple Creek’s 16 casinos posted $9.9 million, and Central City’s six casinos reported $4.6 million.
