The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that 51-year-old Willie Allmon of Widefield was arrested in the death of his 8-month-old grandson, Isiah Wilson.
A coroner found that the child died Monday from blunt-force trauma to the head, inconsistent with an accident, according to El Paso County authorities. Allmon faces first-degree murder charges. He is free on $25,000 bond.
