AURORA, Colo.—Aurora police say they’ve arrested one of two men wanted in a slaying last Sunday.
Police say 33-year-old Harrel Gene Keeling Jr. was arrested Friday night near 35th Avenue and Chambers Road in Aurora on a warrant alleging first-degree murder.
He was taken to the Aurora Detention Center and is being held without bond.
Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the second suspect, 33-year-old Leland Peter Richardson. Both men are suspected in the killing of a man in the 1600 block of South Ouray Street.
Richardson is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Police say he’s considered armed and dangerous.
