DENVER—Vice President Joe Biden will be in Denver to host a town hall-style meeting about the middle class and environmental jobs, and members of the public have a chance to attend.
The event at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science comes three months after President Barack Obama was there to sign the $787 billion stimulus plan into law. Biden and members of Obama’s Middle Class Task Force will be talking about the different ways government departments are working to bring green jobs to the middle class.
Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper is expected to be among the speakers.
A limited number of tickets for the event are available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1450 Glenarm Place, Denver.
