The Aurora Police Department and Noodles & Co. are teaming up tomorrow to raise money for a new police dog.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, the restaurant at 13700 E. Colfax Ave. — near Interstate 225 — will donate 25 percent of every order to the purchase of a new dog for the K-9 Unit.
“When ordering, just remember to mention to the cashier that you are there to support the Aurora Police Department,” police said in a news release.
The K-9 team will be on hand, and children can check out police cars and motorcycles.
In addition, Retriever Rescue of Colorado will be there with dogs ready to be adopted.
For more information, call Aurora police public information officer Bob Friel at 303-739-6022.
