LOUISVILLE, Colo.—Hundreds of graduates from a Louisville high school will be getting new diplomas because the wrong city for their school is printed on them.
Boulder Valley School District spokesman Briggs Gamblin says the printing company made the mistake and will be paying for new diplomas for all of the 395 Monarch High School graduates. The diplomas they received Friday incorrectly listed Lafayette as the city where their school is located.
Gamblin says a parent first spotted the mistake after Friday’s graduation ceremony and more parents began to e-mail the district over the weekend.
