GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Police are looking for a suspect following an overnight armed robbery in the parking lot of a Grand Junction movie theater.
Grand Junction police Sgt. Dave Stassen says a man armed with a handgun robbed the manager of the Carmike Seven cinemas on 24 1/2 Road just after 12:30 a.m. Monday.
The manager was not hurt, but the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running past a Chili’s restaurant.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, about 6-foot tall, 210 pounds, wearing a gray sweat shirt, black pants, black stocking cap and a black scarf over his face.
Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call Grand Junction police.
