“One Book, One Denver” kicked off this week and is running through June 15. It’s Mayor John Hickenlooper’s citywide book club. The goal of the program is to advance a culture of reading in Denver, with the objective of getting people excited to read in their spare time.
But, things have changed slightly for “One Book, One Denver.” Instead of Hickenlooper selecting the book, as he has done for the past five years, you have the opportunity to vote on your choice of 27 books. Books include classic and contemporary works, diverse themes and authors.
