Boulder real estate firm Pedal to Properties has taken on a new partner and is considering expanding nationally over the next year.
Tim Majors, a lawyer with experience taking businesses national, now owns half the company. Majors approached owner Matt Kolb about investing in the company after taking a bike tour with him this year.
The firm is a full-service real estate company that gives its clients the option of touring properties and homes from cruiser bikes. The company will expand its Boulder presence immediately and explore opening branch offices in other markets over the next year.
Formed in 2006, Pedal to Properties has grown 200 percent in the past two years. The company maintains 50 Electra Cruiser bikes at locations throughout Boulder.
