NEW ORLEANS — Mayor Ray Nagin and his wife were quarantined in China after someone on their flight exhibited flulike symptoms.
Nagin’s office said Sunday the couple and a security guard were quarantined in Shanghai and were exhibiting no flu symptoms. The flight originated in Newark, N.J.
Nagin left Friday for an economic development trip. He was to travel next to Australia, where he’d planned to speak on climate change and sustainable building.
