MILWAUKEE — Two police officers shot multiple times Tuesday by a bicyclist are expected to survive.
Police Chief Edward Flynn said the officers stopped the bicyclist because he looked suspicious, and he shot them before they had time to react. The suspect is in custody.
The police chief lauded a cabdriver who came to the officers’ aid and a United Parcel Service driver who tried to follow the suspect, who later was arrested.
