BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett has fired six prosecutors, including one who prosecuted a couple for the child abuse death of their infant son.

Garnett told the Camera newspaper that Colette Cribari is leaving, along with deputy district attorneys Phil Davis, Lisa Hunt, Jessica Lasky, Chris Leh and Bryan Quiram.

Hunt says Garnett sent termination letters in late May.

Garnett said he couldn’t comment on personnel matters, but told the Camera “all deputy district attorneys are at-will employees,” and that a certain amount of turnover is normal and healthy in offices such as his.

The prosecutors will leave within 60 days.

Cribari prosecuted Alex and Molly Midyette, who are serving prison terms for the 2006 death of their son, Jason.
