LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — An Arkansas judge restricted jail telephone access Thursday for a man accused of killing a soldier outside of an Army recruiting center.
Little Rock District Judge Alice Lightle said she heard that Abdulhakim Muhammad gave interviews over a jail phone in violation of her gag order. Muhammad, 23, twice called reporters collect to discuss the June 1 shooting.
