Broomfield- based Aircell announced Thursday it has received Federal Aviation Administration approval of its new high-speed Internet system designed for business jets.
The first system has been installed by Midcoast Aviation on a Bombardier Challenger 605, Aircell said.
Passengers and crew will be able to use their Wi-Fi devices such as laptops, smartphones and PDAs to surf the Internet, send and receive e-mails, and access corporate accounts.
