A 26-year-old woman is being held in the May 29 death of a pedestrian outside a Denver Burger King.
Nadine Nicole Montoya, also known as Nadine Carter, turned herself in on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Denver police believe Montoya was the driver of a car that ran over and killed Lilian Verdonkschot, 49, in the parking lot of the Burger King restaurant at Sixth Avenue and Broadway.
