CHICAGO — Thousands of utility customers in the Midwest are without electricity after waves of thunderstorms.
About 62,000 customers in northern Illinois, Michigan and Indiana still had no electricity Saturday evening as a result of the severe weather that struck on Friday. Iowa and Wisconsin also had scattered outages.
