FORT CARSON — It’s a sweet Father’s Day for dads in an Army Reserve battalion from Denver.

About 75 soldiers are being welcomed home from Iraq on Sunday night at Fort Carson. The soldiers come from the 259th CSSB, an Army Reserve battalion from Denver.

The soldiers spent the last year at a Balad joint Air Base. Soldiers in the unit come from Colorado and other states, including Texas, Kansas and Hawaii.

The welcoming ceremony is Sunday at the Fort Carson’s special event center.
