DENVER—An Adams County 5-year-old is OK after being in a car that was stolen.
Police say a drunk 28-year-old transient woman stole a Ford Focus Sunday morning from a condo complex in unincorporated Adams County.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Candi Baker says the keys to the Focus were in the car. The woman told police she returned the car when she noticed the child.
The accused kidnapper has not been named. She faces kidnapping, theft and DUI charges.
