The woman who beat Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon doesn’t mind the idea of being a cover girl herself. The British press promoted Wednesday’s Centre Court matchup as a beauty contest of sorts, and after Gisela Dulko won 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, a reporter asked her about such hype. “Our publication is making you the new pinup of Wimbledon,” the reporter said. “Would that be a welcome attention for you?” “It’s always nice,” Dulko, right, said. “I always said, ‘I’m not only a tennis player, I’m a woman.’ ” The Argentine said if her appearance brings more attention to her tennis, that’s good. “It’s fine if they talk about it,” she said.
