A man was shot in the leg this morning at a single-family residence in Denver’s Elyria-Swansea neighborhood.
The shooting happened at about 9:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of East 47th Avenue.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Jackson said police are searching for the gunman, who is described as African-American, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and medium build.
Jackson said the man fled the scene in a silver-colored car.
