KEYSTONE, Colo.—Snow tubing isn’t just for winter anymore.
Snow lovers can slide down a pile of it at Keystone this week, as the resort offers summer tubing until the snow melts.
The western Colorado resort is offering the activity for the first time in the summer for $25 per person for an hour. The resort opened its mountain for the summer Friday.
The resort also offers snow tubing in the winter. Resort officials say Keystone has the only summer snow tubing hill in the state.
Spokeswoman Kate Coble says the resort hopes to keep the hill open through the Fourth of July weekend.
