Getting your player ready...

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Seahawks coach Jim Mora are ready for a big trek — up Mount Rainier. Mountaineering great Ed Viesturs will lead the climb to the 14,411-foot peak beginning Saturday. It is expected to take three days. For months, Goodell, a star high school athlete in New York state, has been running up and down 50 flights of stairs inside a building in New York — or running hills in his neighborhood while wearing a 30-pound sack. Reaching the summit requires a vertical elevation gain of more than 9,000 feet over a distance of 8 or more miles. Post wire services
