“Walking with Dinosaurs” stormed into Colorado Springs’ World Arena last year with a horde of beasts so realistic you’d think a portal to the past had opened. The live theatrical show seeks to re-create the experience of live dinosaurs with 15 mechanical animals that walk, roar and even respond to whistles from the audience. The show, based on the award-winning BBC series of the same name, has played to more than 2.4 million Americans since opening two years ago.
