PUEBLO — A 20-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested Thursday and accused of detonating small pipe bombs around north Pueblo on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The devices, made with PVC pipe, exploded in a mailbox, an unlocked vehicle and on the street, police said.

A witness reported a license-plate number to police, which led to the arrest of Joshua J. Allison, 20, of Pueblo and the juvenile, who has not been named because of his age.

According to Pueblo police, Allison had six pipe bombs in his car when he was arrested.

Both face charges of possession of an explosive or incendiary device.
