ROCK HILL, S.C. — A shuttered mill in northwestern South Carolina has caught fire, spewing clouds of dense, black smoke visible for miles.
The mill housing the former Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Bleachery began burning Friday. The Herald of Rock Hill reported that several homes had to be evacuated. There were no reports of injuries.
