Two of the largest airlines at Denver International Airport have announced fare sales for travel this fall.
Southwest and Frontier began the sale late Monday, which was being matched today by other airlines.
Southwest has an unusual sale based on the flight’s distance: $30 one way for up to 400 miles; $60 one way for flights between 400 miles and 750 miles; and $90 one way for those more than 750 miles.
Tickets for travel between Sept. 9 and Nov. 18 must be purchased by midnight Wednesday.
Frontier is offering a “whale of a sale” for flights booked by July 14 on its website for travel Aug. 10 through Jan. 15.
One-way fares range from $34 to $199. A 14-day advance purchase is required and travel must be on off-peak days.
