United Airlines and Delta Airlines have been fined by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

United must pay $80,000 because reservation agents failed to disclose that some flights were operated by United Express. Delta was fined $375,000 for not telling passengers bumped from oversold flights that they are entitled to compensation of up to $800.
