The swine flu outbreak claimed an Air Force Academy tradition as one of its victims.

The outbreak, which sickened 89 students, forced the cancellation of Saturday’s Doolie Day Out, which would have allowed the incoming freshmen class to leave campus. Fifteen students have been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. Test results are pending on others who exhibited flu-like symptoms.

The 89 students remain in isolation, according to academy spokesman John Van Winkle.
