PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — A ferry capsized off Haiti’s southern coast Saturday morning, killing at least five people.
Authorities said it wasn’t clear how many people were on board, but as many as two dozen could be missing. Officials had initially said six people were known dead but later lowered the figure.
Civil protection official Jean-Michel Sabbat said the search was suspended late Saturday afternoon and will resume today.
