A man who police say refused to pull over after he was spotted driving 88 mph in a 45-mph speed zone along Colorado 392 at Westgate Drive early today hit a guardrail, then led a Larimer County Sheriff’s officer on a high-speed chase across the Poudre River and into the town of Windsor where police say speeds reached 110 mph.
The man who police identified as Levi Korgan, 22, of Greeley, lost control of his car but not before crashing it into three parked cars after he crossed 7th Street in Windsor, authorities said.
No one was injured in the incident.
Korgan was treated for minor injuries at Medical Center of the Rockies before being taken to the Larimer County Detention Center.
He was charged with eluding, reckless driving, DUI and driving with a suspended license, authorities said.
