GREELEY, Colo.—A woman accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her boyfriend’s mother has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Alana Noke pleaded guilty in late June to attempted first-degree assault and was sentenced in Greeley on Friday.

Weld County District Judge Marcelo Kopcow called Noke’s conduct “outrageous.”

Prosecutors say Noke wanted the woman killed because she disapproved of her relationship.
