GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Western Colorado orchards, wineries, farms and other businesses are opening their doors for “agritourists” this summer.
Nineteen Palisade-area businesses are offering tours that range from 20 minutes to an hour. Most are free.
Participants include eight farms and orchards, six wineries, an alpaca farm, a brewery, a distillery, a bicycle rental and a float trip company.
The program is sponsored by the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, the Grand Junction Visitor & Convention Bureau and Experience Colorado Agriculture.
