
BOULDER — The sheriff’s office has a better description of a man suspected of attacking a woman in her Gunbarrel home over the weekend.
A woman told deputies she was attacked between 9 and 10:30 p.m. Friday after leaving her apartment unlocked while she walked to a nearby home. When she returned to her home near the intersection of 75th Street and Jay Road, the suspect was inside and attacked her, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman sustained injuries during the assault and required medical treatment.
She described her attacker as a white man, 35 to 40 years old, about 6-foot-tall with a heavy build, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He had brown, shoulder-length, straight hair, light-blue eyes and possibly a pierced ear with a “stud” earring.
He was wearing a dark T-shirt and possibly jeans.
