A 54-year-old man was stabbed and a storage business set ablaze Thursday afternoon in Weld County, setting off an all-day standoff between SWAT officers and an unknown suspect.
Hostage negotiators were still trying to locate and establish communications with the suspect at a Keenesburg storage complex at 11 p.m.
The man who was stabbed has not been named. He was airlifted to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley with a serious wound to his stomach. Public records identify the business as the I-76 RV & Boat Inside Storage at 28037 Weld County Road 18. Joey Bunch, The Denver Post
