TOKYO — An American and his Japanese colleague were found dead on Japan’s Mount Fuji of probable hypothermia because of cold and wet weather on their way down from the peak, police said Friday.
Police and rescuers found the bodies of Jerry Yu, 30, a U.S. citizen who worked in Tokyo, and Takeshi Nakamura, 27, said Yamanashi prefectural (state) police official Takahiro Omata.
